Hurricane - tropical storm with very strong winds
• Thunderstorms usually occur in summer, when a cold front and warm front meet.
• Tornadoes cause very small but very violent storms; they frequently occur with thunderstorms.
• Hurricane winds may be stronger than 300 km/h; viewed from an airplane, they look like circling bands of spinning clouds.
